Welcome to the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Girijananda Chowdhury University, Assam. The department offers B. Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. programs. The curriculum of the programs is designed based on the current and upcoming industry requirements to endow the students with technical expertise. With well qualified, experienced and dedicated regular faculty members, the Department offers a unique blend of teaching, research and hands-on experience sessions for students. One to one mentoring system is implemented to facilitate the students with personal support and professional growth. The Department has excellent laboratory facilities which are being upgraded from time to time to provide ample opportunities for the students to learn and innovate. Students will have the opportunities to work with Industry oriented software like Cadence, LabVIEW etc to practice engineering with ethical approaches. The Department organizes interactive lectures, seminars and workshops. Industry visits are organized as an essential part of the academic curriculum to get knowledge of industry-specific workings and wisdom, eventually leading the students to understand better management skills and team works.
