Eighth Industrial visit from the Department of Electronics and communication Engineering is organized to SAMEER (Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research), IIT Guwahati
The department of ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) of GIMT- Guwahati has taken an initiative to get its students an exposure to the highly sophisticated manufacturing and research laboratory of microwave devices at SAMEER Guwahati centre on 3rd June, 2022.
This centre encompasses the devices and apparatus worth of more than Rs. 120 crores. This was attended by 21 students of different semesters of the department of ECE (Batches: 2018 – 22, 2019 – 23, 2020 – 24 and 2021 – 25) with 2 faculty members and a laboratory assistant of the department.
