Ms. Gargi Kar Purkayastha is presently designated as Assistant Professor in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and is associated with the department since 2009. She has completed her MTech in Electronics and Communication Technology from Gauhati University and is pursuing PhD in Nanotechnology.
She has 15 years of professional experience with strong emphasis on Teaching, Learning and Research. She has been involved in both Undergraduate and Post Graduate teaching of the curriculum courses like Semiconductor and Electronic Devices, Analog Circuits, Digital Circuits, Instrumentation, EEM, Analog and Digital Communication, Wireless Communication, Digital Image Processing, Nanoelectronics to mention some. She is actively involved in project monitoring and laboratory hands on.
She has presented a number of papers in national and international conferences as well as has publications in journals. Her research areas of interest are semiconductor devices, nanotechnology, nanomaterials, oral cancer detection.
