Ms. Subhadra Das is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Girijananda Chowdhury University, (GCU), Assam. She completed her B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) from GIMT, Guwahati in 2010. Further, she attained an M. TECH degree in Electronics and Communication Technology (ECT) from the Department of ECE, Gauhati University in 2012 under the supervision of Prof. Kandarpa Kumar Sarma, HOD, ECE, Gauhati University. Presently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) under Prof. Minakshi Gogoi, HOD, CSE, GCU.
She has 12 years of teaching experience and has supervised several B. TECH and M. TECH final year projects. Her research areas include Image Processing, Communication systems, Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things, Bioinformatics, etc. She has published research papers in International Conferences and Journals.
She has participated in various faculty development programs, workshops, industrial training, etc., to enhance her technical skills. She also participated in department-level and institute-level industrial visits, excursions, flood relief camps etc. Further, she participated in the collaborative research work on rice disease control at Assam Rice Research Institute, Titabor, under Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat. Being an Alumni of GCU, she is currently designated as the Joint Secretary of Alumni Association, GCU.
Her professional membership includes the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) as a Life member.
