Biography

Dr. Anindita Bora is presently working as Associate Professor and Head, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Girijananda Chowdhury University, Assam. She joined the Girijananda chowdhury institute of Management and Technology in 2008. Prior to this, she worked in Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim as a Lecturer.

She has 16 years of experience in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. During this period she has been involved in both Undergraduate and Post Graduate Teaching; Project monitoring, Laboratory teaching and other academic activities. She mostly teach (and learning) the curriculum courses of Embedded System, Network Theory, Advanced Programming Language, VLSI CAD, Wireless Communication, Instrumentation, Fibre Optic communication and Analog and Digital circuits. She is actively involved in organizing and managing various training programmes for student and also involved in research work. She has been awarded with two funded Projects from DST under TEQIP-III and AICTE. She has presented a number of papers in national and international conferences as well as has publications in journals. Her areas of interests are Sensors, Embedded systems and Instrumentation. Recently she has been involved in AICTE’s project on Engineering Book translation to mother language also.

Anindita has done her PhD in Sensor and Instrumentation from Gauhati University and M.Tech (post-graduation) in Electronic Design and Technology from Tezpur University. She has also passed NET(JRF) in 2010 in Electronics Science.

Her strong passion to share knowledge has made her choose a career in teaching and has
continued till date.
