MA in English is a two-year postgraduate programme designed to give due emphasis on the study of English Literature and Language throughout the world including Literature from the Northeast India, Indian Writing in English, African American Literature, New Literatures in English, Comparative Literature, Literature of the Margins, to name a few. Alongside an emphasis on research, interart courses like The Art of Film, Reading Comics and Graphic Novels, have been introduced to enhance students’ analytical and critical thinking skills.
