Biography

Nozomi Tokuma teaches Japanese as a foreign language. She is an Assistant Professor at the School of Humanities and Social Science, Girijananda Chowdhury University, since July 2023. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in “Linguistic Challenges in Japanese-Language Learning with Special Reference to the North East Region of India” from the Department of Foreign Languages, Gauhati University. Her research interest includes Japanese pitch accent, Collaborative learning, Language test construction, Speaking education, Writing education, and Special education (visual Impairment).
