GCU Scholarship from the Academic Session 2024-25

GCU Scholarship for all UG Programmers (B.Tech/BBA/BCA/B.Com/B.Sc/BA/BSW/BMLT/BPT)

1. Students under Sports quota (representing state) would avail 50% waiver on tuition fees subjected to results without backlogs in subsequent semesters (1 seat per course).
2. Students under NCC quota (having NCC ‘B’ certificate) would avail 50% waiver on tuition fees subjected to results without backlogs in subsequent semesters (1 seat per course).
3. Students from poor family (Annual income upto 2.5 lakh) would avail 50% waiver on tuition fees subjected to results without backlogs in subsequent semesters (1 seat per course).
4. Students getting enrolled in UG programme on completion of HS (10+2) from Shrimanta Shankar Academy will get a waiver of Rs. 20,000/- on their total course fee. This waiver will be split over the first two semesters.
5. Students from other NE states (Outside Assam) will get a waiver of 20% on tuition fees.

A student can avail any one of these waivers (whichever is higher).

GCU Scholarship for all PG Programmes (M.Tech/MBA/MCA/M.Com/MA/M.Sc/MSW/MMLT/MPT/M.Pharm)

1. Students having score 75% or above in the qualifying exam will avail a waiver of Rs. 25,000/- on their total course fee.
2. Students getting enrolled in PG programme on completion of UG programme from GCU (GIMT&GIPS)/SSA will get a waiver of Rs. 10,000/- on their total course fee.

All the waivers will be split over the first two semesters. A student can avail any one of these waivers (whichever is higher).

GCU Scholarship for B.Tech. Programme:

1. Students with score of 80% or above as average in PCM/PMB in HS (10+2) examination would avail 50% waiver on tuition fees in 1^st& 2^nd
2. Students taking admission from CEE first counselling would avail 50% waiver on tuition fees subjected to results without backlogs in subsequent semesters (10% seats of total intake).
3. Students taking admission from JEE (Main) Cut off would avail 50% waiver on tuition fees subjected to results without backlogs in subsequent semesters (10% seats of total intake).

GCU Scholarship for B.Tech.(Lateral) Programme

1. Students with score of 80% and above in 3 years Engineering Diploma
   Examination would avail a waiver of Rs. 50,000/- on their total programme fee.

All the waivers will be split over the first two semesters. A student can avail any one of these waivers (whichever is higher).

 

GCU Alumni Scholarship Scheme:

1. The GCU Alumni Association shall offer 2 (two) scholarships for meritorious and deserving (economically backward) students for pursuing any UG programmes in the University. The scholarship shall cover total tuition and other additional fee of the students subject to the regular academic performance throughout the semesters. In exceptional cases for deserving candidates, the scholarship may also be extended to cover hostel fee of the candidate.
