BCA( (With Specialization in AI&ML and Data Science)

The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) at Girijananda Choudhury University (GCU), Assam, is offered as a three-year Degree programme and a four-year Honours programme, designed in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2019. The programme offers specializations in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML) and Data Science, addressing the growing demand for intelligent, data-driven, and emerging digital technologies.

Students who have successfully completed the 10+2 / HSSLC examination from a recognized State or National Board, with the prescribed minimum aggregate marks, are eligible for admission to the programme.

Entry requirements

  1. Eligibility :

    • 10+2 in any stream with 45 % marks in aggregate. ( 40% for reserved category)

    OR

    • Diploma in Engineering from any stream.

There is a centralised Placement Cell for the placement of the passed out students and preparing them Ready for Job.

The Alumnus of the department are placed in different national and international organisations and giving their service in the field of Computer Science and applications for the growth of country and world as a whole.
