The Department of Business Administration offers a two-year MBA Programme for Working Professionals (AICTE approved) that has been designed to enhance managerial knowledge, professional competencies and leadership capabilities while enabling learners to pursue higher education alongside their professional commitments. The programme integrates contemporary management concepts with practical and industry-oriented learning, equipping professionals with the knowledge and skills required to navigate complex business challenges and advance their careers.
The programme offers specialisations in Finance, Human Resource, Marketing, Business Analytics, International Business and Entrepreneurship in order to enable learners to develop specialised expertise in their chosen domain while acquiring a comprehensive understanding of management principles and business operations. The curriculum places emphasis on analytical thinking, strategic decision-making, innovation, leadership and application-oriented learning.
Learners, in addition to the Summer Internship Project, undertake a Capstone Project in the final semester and thereby they get an opportunity to integrate and apply the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the programme. Through an in-depth study of a relevant business problem, organisational challenge or emerging opportunity, learners develop practical and evidence-based recommendations. The Capstone Project further strengthens their research capabilities, critical thinking, analytical skills, problem-solving abilities and strategic decision-making competencies.
