Dr. Suranjana Patowary has joined the Department of Chemistry as Assistant Professor on August 2025. She has obtained her doctoral degree from Tezpur University, Assam. The title of her thesis is “Design of Hybrid Electrocatalysts with Oxide-Oxide/Hydroxide Interfaces”. Her thesis work comprises of synthesis of mixed metal oxides, material characterization and their electrochemical analyses. She is a recipient of the prestigious commonwealth scholarship awarded by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, United Kingdom. She worked as a visiting post-graduate researcher at University of Southampton, England from 2022 to 2023.
