Dr. Abhinav Sarma, Assistant Professor of the Department of Business Administration at Girijananda Chowdhury University, was invited as a Resource Person by the Assam Administrative Staff College, Government of Assam. He conducted a session on “Change Management Fundamentals: From Policy to Practice” for the Senior Government Officials and ACS Officers of the Government of Assam. The session formed a part of a two-day capacity-building programme on “Sevottam Framework, Good Governance and Change Management,” sponsored by the DARPG, Government of India under the Sevottam Scheme.
During the session, Dr. Sarma highlighted various effective Change Management tools and techniques that can help officers drive smoother transitions, strengthen organisational readiness for change, and ensure successful implementation of policies and public service initiatives.
The active interaction and enthusiastic participation of the officers made the session highly engaging and enriching.
