The Constitution of India is the Supreme law of the Law. It is the common thread that binds the legislative, executive and judicial organs of the Government. It provides protection to the civil and political right of the people and also enlightened the role of judiciary in this respect. The University offers LL.M. programme as per the UGC regulation. The LL.M. in Constitutional and Administrative Law offers depth insight of the various principles of Constitutional law and also analyse a comparative study. The programme provides a comprehensive critical legal study by covering various constitutional aspects such as Comparative Public Law, Local Self Government, Health Law, Media Law, Fundamental Rights and Directive Principles of State Policy, Inter-State Relation. The curriculums are scrupulously prepared with the combination of both theoretical and empirical analysis and interpretation in the legal aspect.
• MASTER OF LAW (LL.M.) CRIMINAL AND SECURITY LAW
The Girijananda Choudhury University offers LL.M. in the specialization of Criminal and Security Law to equip the students with in depth empathy of the complex legal frameworks and challenges relating to criminal justice and security. By incorporating both theoretical and empirical approach, the curriculum that is designed as per UGC Regulation covers various aspect of criminal law such as International Criminal Law, victimology, White collar crime, sentence and sentencing, police law and administration. Girijananda Choudhury University offers LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Law to provide an in-depth knowledge of the legal, economic, financial, and regulatory matters covering the most relevant aspects in the realm of commerce and corporation. Various areas of commerce and corporate law such as company law, competition law, cyber law, banking law, insurance law, intellectual property rights are incorporated in the curriculum of the programme.
