Dr. Niju Moni Das joined the Department of Law, Girijananda Choudhury University as an Assistant Professor in April, 2024. She has completed her Ph.D. Degree in 2018 from Gauhati University and done LL.M. with the Specialization of Constitutional Law and Administrative Law from P.G. Department of Law, Gauhati University in 2009. She has started her teaching journey since 2009 in NEF Law College.
Her book entitled “An Introduction to Environmental Law” was published in 2022 by Book Land Publisher, Guwahati, Assam. She has also edited a book “An Introduction to Dynamics of Good Governance and Environment Management Policies” published by Aequitas Victoria Publication in 2021. She has published twelve research papers in different national and international journals. She has participated in three Refresher Courses and seven Faculty Development Programmes. She has presented various research papers in national/international seminars, workshops and conferences.
Under her guidance two researchers are carrying their Ph.D. research work and more than twenty students did Dissertation in the partial fulfilment of LL.M. Degree. She is the member of National Editorial Board of Indian Journal of Law and Human Behavior published by Red Flower Publication.
