Excursions are an integral part of the learning process at the department of Civil Engineering, GIMT Guwahati. Students in their final year are taken on a trip to gain hands-on experience with various aspects of civil engineering construction. The following excursions have taken effect:
This visit provided students with a greater knowledge of the problems associated with construction sites in steep regions. They not only observed the construction of a building, but they could also relate to the issues of road construction in challenging terrains during the travel. (Report)
