Professor Prabuddha Ganguli is the CEO of “VISION-IPR” offering services in management of Intellectual Property Rights, information security and knowledge management. Professor Ganguli is a leading international expert on IPR and a Consultant to the World Intellectual Property Organization for IPR capacity building, an expert on IPR policy to several governments and an elected Fellow of the Maharashtra Academy of Sciences. Professor Ganguli completed M.Sc in chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India and PhD from the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, India. He conducted his post doctoral research in Germany as Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Fellow at the Mainz University, Germany. He was also a research associate at the Windsor University, Canada following which he returned to India as Visiting Scientist at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) in Mumbai, India.
Professor Ganguli was Honorary Scientific Consultant for Innovation and IPR matters to the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser, Government of India, a member of the Advisory Board of the IIPI, Washington, a Member of the Senate of National Institute of Fashion Technology, India, a member of the Advisory Board of Institute for Intellectual Property Studies (IIPS), Mumbai, and a member of the International Editorial Board of “World Patent Information. Professor Ganguli has also been teaching IPR and innovation management as adjunct faculty in various universities and institutions. He has been serving as a member of the Patent Agent’s Examination Board of the Indian Patent Office since 2010.
