Professor Sunayan Bardoloi is an alumnus of Gauhati University. He did his masters degree from the Department of Zoology with specialization in entomology. He obtained his PhD degree from Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat in Seri-Biology. Prior to joining this university, he held the position of HoD of Zoology in B.Borooah College under Gauhati University.
Prof Bardoloi has more than 30 years of teaching experience at both Under graduate and Post graduate levels. He has research experience too of equal duration which is substantiated by more than 30 research publications in various reputed peer reviewed journals.
Prof Bardoloi has successfully carried out two major projects, funded by DBT and NEC in Seribiotechnology. He has also completed one UGC funded minor project.
Prof Bardoloi is a recognized PhD guide of Gauhati University as well as Girijananda Chowdhury University. Many scholars are registered under him and one scholar has already been awarded the Doctoral degree by Gauhati University.
