Prof. Hari Prasad Goenka has recently joined as Senior Professor in the Department of Commerce under GCU and presently he is the Head of the Department of Commerce. He has more than thirty years of teaching experience. Earlier he served in Rabindranath Tagore University as Ex-HOD and Associate Professor in the Department of Commerce. He also served as Principal in JDSG College, Bokakhat and has more than six Books (both in English and Assamese medium) published in his name as an author. He has presented / published more than ten Research Papers in National & International Seminars / Conferences and Journals. He is the Guide and Supervisor in Commerce and Member of the University Research Council as well as Departmental Research Committee of Rabindranath Tagore University. He has served as Member of Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) for various Departments of the University. He is also associated with Research activities as Co-guide under JJT University, Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan) and Royal Global University, Guwahati (Assam). He has also served as Guide to MBA program under IGNOU Centre of RTU. He has served as Internal Auditor of IGNOU / IDOL / KKHSOU Centre under RTU and continuously acted as Supervisor of Income Tax Return for RTU since long. He has participated in more than fifty Seminars / Workshops / Webinars, etc., at Regional / National and International levels. He has also delivered lectures as Resource Person and Penalist in National Webinars on many occasions. He has attended Management Development Program (MDP) for Academic Administrators and many National Level Faculty Development Programs. He is also holding Membership of Academic Bodies like Indian Accounting Association (IAA) and Social Research Foundation.
