Priyanka Yadav has joined the Department of Pharmacognosy, Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, GCU (Tezpur) as an Assistant Professor on 19th December 2025. Prior  to this, she has worked in NEPEDS College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Tetelia, Sonapur for the past five years which has helped her to improve her teaching skills.
She has completed her B.Pharm and M.Pharm degree from Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD degree from Assam Science and Technology University. She has published two research papers in reputed journals. She has also co-authored one practical book. Throughout her career, she has actively participated in numerous conferences, workshops and FDPs contributing to her professional development and expertise in the field.
She is actively involved in undergraduate teaching and academic mentoring. Her teaching interests include Herbal Drug Technology and Pharmacognosy with a strong emphasis on conceptual clarity, practical learning and outcome-based learning. She is committed to enhancing teaching-learning processes and academic excellence in pharmacy education.
