Ms. Pasang Drema Goiba joined as an assistant professor in the department of Medical laboratory technology (MLT),School of Allied Health Sciences,Girijananda Chowdhury University on August 2024.She is currently teaching Hematology and Transfusion medicine to MLT students and guiding the students in the BMLT program.
She completed her bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology (BSc.MLT) in 2018 from Assam Downtown University (ADTU ), Panikhaiti Guwahati Assam. She completed her Master of science in Medical Laboratory Technology (MSc.MLT- Immunohematology and Transfusion in medicine) in 2022 from St.Johns Medical College ,Bengaluru affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. During her Post graduation she did her dissertation on the title Assessment of the utility of Red Blood Cells Flags from Haematology analyzers in differential diagnosis of anemias.
Presently she is pursuing her PhD at Girijananda Chowdhury University (GCU).She have three years of experience in both teaching and diagnosis. She has organised various health camps and awareness program in the college.
Aside from academics and research ,she enjoys cooking, reading and learning new skills.
