Biography

Arzoo Newar, an Assistant Professor at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences since October 2021, is a dedicated educator with a diverse background. She holds an M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University, and is an alumna of Himalayan Pharmacy Institute, East Sikkim, Majhitar.

Arzoo’s research interests span Novel Drug Delivery systems, Cosmetics, Nutraceuticals, and Transdermal Drug Delivery Systems. Her proficiency is evident through research articles in esteemed National and International journals. She successfully cleared the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) in 2019.

Her accomplishments extend beyond academia. Arzoo holds a Prathamic (Hindi Niketan) exam pass from Assam RashtrabhashaPracharSamiti, Guwahati. She completed a 4-year Fine Arts course (2006-2010) from SarbabharatiyaCharu-O-Karukala-Niket, Kolkata, highlighting her artistic pursuits. Additionally, she attained an Advanced Diploma in Computer Application from North East Education in 2015, showcasing her tech proficiency.

Amid her scholarly pursuits, Arzoo seeks solace in books, enjoys culinary exploration, and nurtures her well-being through yoga. Her engaging persona mirrors her dedication to education and holistic growth.
