Biography

Ms. Arzoo Newar’s academic journey has been defined by her unwavering dedication to pharmaceutical sciences and her broad spectrum of interests. She holds a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutics from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University, and is an alumna of the Himalayan Pharmacy Institute, East Sikkim. Her commitment to excellence was recognized when she successfully cleared the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) in 2019.

Since October 2021, Ms. Arzoo Newar has served as an Assistant Professor at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Girijananda Chowdhury University, where she specializes in Novel Drug Delivery Systems, Cosmetics, Nutraceuticals, and Ocular Drug Delivery Systems. Her expertise in these areas is further solidified through her contributions to both national and international journals. Ms. Newar’s participation in notable events such as the 73rd Indian Pharmaceutical Congress in Hyderabad, along with various international seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs, has enriched her knowledge and understanding, allowing her to stay at the forefront of advancements in her field. In addition to her pharmaceutical expertise, Ms. Newar has a well-rounded skill set that spans both the arts and technology. She holds a Prathamic (Hindi Niketan) exam pass and has completed a 4-year Fine Arts course from Sarbabharatiya Charu-O-Karukala-Niket in Kolkata. Moreover, she earned an Advanced Diploma in Computer Applications from North East Education, further enhancing her technical proficiency.

Outside of her professional life, Ms. Newar is a multifaceted individual with a deep passion for books, culinary exploration, and yoga. She is also an avid traveler, always seeking new experiences and perspectives through exposure to different cultures and places. Her diverse interests and holistic approach to life reflect her commitment to both personal and professional growth, making her a vibrant and engaging personality both in and out of the classroom.
