Mrinmoy Deka joined the Department of Pharmaceutics, School of Pharmaceutical Science as an Assistant Professor on Jan, 2021. At present, he is teaching (and learning) the curriculum courses of Novel Drug Delivery System, dispensing Pharmaceutics and quality assurance of Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining here, he worked in a pharmaceutical manufacturing industry as a Quality Assurance Officer at Ajanta Pharma Ltd., Guwahati. His work was mostly in In-process quality assurance in the ophthalmic dosage form manufacturing unit and quality control area.
Mrinmoy has completed his (post-graduation) M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics (with major project on ophthalmic in-situ gel formulation) from GIPS, Guwahati. He has also done his under-graduation (B.Pharm) from GIPS, Guwahati. He pursued his industrial training in pharmaceutical dosage formulation, quality control and quality assurance of pharmaceutical preparation from Emami Private Ltd., Guwahati.
Apart from the academics, he has completed the Junior and Senior diplomain fine arts from BangiyaSangeetParishad, West Bengal, which is a pioneering cultural body in the state of West Bengal.
