Dipjyoti Deka joined the Department of Computer Science and Engineering as an Assistant Professor on August 2023. He completed his Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from WBUT and Master of Technology in Information Technology from Tezpur University in the year 2010 and 2015, respectively. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. from Tezpur University. His area of interest includes Cyber Security and Data Science. Apart from academic he worked as Project Engineer for a research project Funded by DeitY, Govt. of India in collaboration with Tezpur University and CDAC from 2016 to 2018. He also worked as Associate Product Developer in Symphony Services PVT. LTD, Bangalore from 2011 to 2012.
He has participated in a number of State, National and International level Conferences, Workshops, Seminars, Training Programmes and FDPs.
He completed certification courses on Introduction to IoT by CISCO Network Academy, Introduction to Data Science by Infosys Springboard, MongoDB Atlas by MongoDB.
He is actively involved in various departmental activity like B.Tech Semester Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Examination Coordinator etc.
