Biography

Mr. Chinmoy Malakar is currently serving as a Lecturer at Girijananda Chowdhury University (GCU), Assam. Prior to the present appointment, Mr. Chinmoy Malakar has accumulated 1.5years of research experience by working as a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) at the College of Veterinary Science, Khanapara which was an affiliated institution under Assam Agricultural University. In this role, he participated in research activities involving experimental pharmacology and biomedical sciences, contributing to project implementation, data interpretation, and dissemination of scientific findings. This research experience laid a strong foundation for his subsequent academic and research career. 

Mr. Chinmoy Malakar has completed his Master of Pharmacy (Pharmacology) from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Girijananda Chowdhury University, Guwahati. He has completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy from Pratiksha Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Guwahati, with excellent academic performance.

Mr. Chinmoy Malakar’s primary research interests include Diabetes Research, Neuropharmacology, and Cancer Research, with a primary focus on diabetes and its related complications. His research activities involve the preclinical assessment of pharmacological interventions, the study of disease mechanisms, and the development of evidence-based therapeutic approaches aimed at improving health outcomes.

Mr. Chinmoy Malakar has successfully completed Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) organized by the College of Pharmacy, Integral University, Lucknow and Assam Downtown University, Guwahati, Assam.

Mr. Chinmoy Malakar has published a research paper in a reputed peer-reviewed journal and has actively participated in various conferences, seminars, and workshops as a presenter and resource person. His engagement in academic and professional activities reflects his dedication to research, scientific communication, and continuous learning.
