Mohd Azizuddin Ahmed joined Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT), Guwahati (now Girijananda Chowdhury University (GCU)) on 08 April 2019 as a Laboratory Instructor at Department of Electrical Engineering. From the joining onwards, he teaches and assisted the various laboratory subjects of Electrical Engineering Department.
He is a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional with 4 years of experience in academic field. Prior to that, he has 2.5 years industrial experience as RF Engineer at Niv-Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Bhubaneswar. He joined the Niv-Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. on 20 April 2016 as RF Engineer (Drive Test Engineer). The last position he secured in that company was Sr. RF Optimization Engineer and left the company on 31 August 2018.
He holds a B. Tech Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Swami Sarvanand Institute of Engineering and Technology, Dinanagar which is affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar (now I. K. Gujral Punjab Technical University). He was the second topper of his batch in college. Prior to that he has done X and XII form Kendriya Vidyalaya Borjhar, Guwahati which is affiliated to CBSE. Additionally, he has actively pursued professional development courses, such as Embedded System, Robotics based on Microcontroller 8051, Advanced Computing (Computer programming languages). Now, he is pursuing M. Tech Electronics and Communication.
Additional to his regular duties, he acts as Resource person in online workshop on “Programming with Microprocessor 8085” and online working on “Doing Projects using Arduino”. He was the organizing member of different events and webinar conducted by Department of Electrical Engineering. He also took classes of the Academic Internship and Training programs (MATLAB). He also visited to different industries as Industrial trip along with students. He is the co-coordinator of Electrical Hub Club. Last but not the least, he also mentors the students.
