Dr. Nur Ahammed Khan joined the Department of Pharmacy Practice as an Assistant Professor on Feb 2023. At present, he is teaching (and learning) the curriculum courses of Pharmacy Practice, Doing research in the field of Pharmacy Practice Prior to this, heworked in the Hospital as an Clinical Pharmacist.His work was mostly inthe feild of cost effective treatment for the patients.
Dr. Nur Ahammed Khan has done hisPharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy) (with major project inA STUDY ON PRE AND POST ASSESSMENT OF HOSPITALIZED DIABETES PATIENTS) from Rajiv Gandhi University and Health Sciences, Bangalore. His under-graduation (B.Pharm) Farooqia College of Pharmacy, Mysore.His brief research internshipsare on Cost effective treatment of DM patient in Holdsworth Memorial Hospital, Mysore and on Infectious disease control in Asha Kirana Hospital, Mysore.
Apart from academics, he had attended many national, international workshop, conference and webinars. He is interested in the field of Pharmaco-Economics and clinical research. He has been appointed as Office-In-Charge– DIC,GCU and Departmental Library GIPS.
