Dr Antu Dey is Executive Director at the Product Development Center of International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI), New York, USA. Dr. Dey has 15+ years of R&D experience of developing vaccine candidates and adjuvants for pre-clinical and clinical evaluation. Currently at IAVI, as Product Development leader, Dr. Dey is responsible for managing, supporting and administering IAVI’s efforts to accelerate the development of various vaccine and monoclonal antibody candidates for Phase I to Phase III clinical evaluation. Before joining IAVI, Dr. Dey worked at Novartis Vaccines for 7 years, where he worked on multiple vaccine candidates and adjuvant platforms. Dr. Dey holds a DPhil. in Biochemistry from University of Oxford, UK and completed his post-doctoral research in HIV vaccine design at Weill Cornell Medical College. He currently serves as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of Imperial College led Future Vaccine Manufacturing Research Hub and is a member of the Scientific Advisory Group for Biotherapeutics in Govt. of India led program, Innovate in India
