Dr. Ankur Jyoti Kashyap joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Girijananda Chowdhury University on August 2023. He greatly enjoys building connections with students through the shared experiences of teaching and learning. Dr. Kashyap received his PhD degree from Gauhati University. His primary research field is the mathematical modelling of ecological systems seen through the framework of nonlinear dynamical systems. His current research consists of the effects of psychological changes on animals in their life history in ecosystems with different biotic and abiotic factors. He has published five research articles in peer-reviewed journals indexed in SCOPUS and Web of Science. He has strong collaborations with researchers from reputed international institutions. He has also completed several reviewer assignments for peer-reviewed SCI journals and International conferences. Moreover, he has presented his research works at nine different International conferences and participated in several FDPs and Workshops.
Alongside research, he has expertise in teaching and mentoring. His pedagogical focus encompasses a range of essential subjects, including Algebra, Graph Theory, Dynamical Systems, Numerical Analysis, Complex Analysis, and Linear Algebra.
