The Department of English and Foreign Languages, GCU observed Shakespeare’s Day, on April 23rd to mark the birth and death of William Shakespeare. The ENFL Department inaugurated the second edition of Odessey titled “Bard of Avon” to commemorate the timeless genius.

The day is an opportunity to appreciate Shakespeare’s immense contributions to literature, theatre and the English language. His timeless classics, such as “Romeo and Juliet,” “Hamlet,” “Othello” and “Macbeth” continue to captivate audiences worldwide.

The wall magazine showcased Shakespeare’s influence on literature, theatre and culture, highlighting the beauty of his language, the depth of his characters and the timeless themes that continue to resonate with audiences today. Shakespeare Day is a celebration of the Bard’s lasting impact on the world of literature and beyond.
