Dr. Abhinav Sarma, Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration, Girijananda Chowdhury University, was invited as a Resource Person by the Assam Administrative Staff College, Government of Assam, to conduct two leadership development sessions for ACS Officers and Senior Government Officials.
The sessions, titled “Transformational Leadership for Effective Governance” and “Ethical Leadership in Public Administration”, were designed to strengthen leadership capabilities within the administrative framework of the state.
During the programme, Dr. Sarma engaged the participants in a detailed discussion on the tools and strategies that transformational leaders can adopt to enhance team performance, decision-making, and service delivery. He also emphasised the relevance of Mendelow’s Power–Interest Matrix as an effective tool for stakeholder analysis in governance and policy implementation.
