Free Online UNICEF Certificate Course Orientation at GCU-Tezpur

Research and Innovation Cell, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, GCU-Tezpur organized an orientation cum student registration program to Free Online UNICEF Certificate Course on 22nd July 2024. Nidarshana Koch, Management trainee of ‘Triguna, The Science of Living!’, a Delhi based NGO, introduced about the training program to the students and Faculty members. This free-of-cost, 4-hour flagship skilling initiative by UNICEF aims to provide young people (18-29 years old) with job-relevant 21st-century skills, positioning them for future job and entrepreneurship opportunities. To date, they have certified more than 125,000 students across India.

The success of the UNICEF YuWaah Passport to Earning (P2E) program has made a significant impact, training more than 125,000 students PAN India. This program offers free, job-relevant 21st-century skills to young people, positioning them for future opportunities.Upon completion of this first course, they will gain access to an extensive content library with courses on employability skills, life skills, entrepreneurship mindset, digital literacy, financial literacy, and more.Aligned with the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP), P2E offers a wide range of curated e-learning courses available to schools, colleges, and institutions across the country. Courses are available in Hindi and English, and students can take these programs at home or in school/college computer labs. They will receive certificates of completion from United Nations, UNICEF, and P2E partners, including Microsoft, Accenture, and Capgemini.
