An industrial visit to Dabur India Limited, organized by the Training and Career Guidance Cell – GCU Tezpur

The B. Pharm 7th semester students of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at GCU Tezpur recently participated in an industrial visit to Dabur India Limited, organized by the Training and Career Guidance Cell. A total of 61 students, divided into two batches, accompanied by four faculty members, explored the facilities of Dabur on two separate days.

The visit featured an engaging interactive session with key personnel from Dabur, including Mr. Gurmeet Singh, Unit Head; Mr. Hemen Rajbangshi, HR Manager; Mr. Amitabh Gupta, HR Associate Manager; and Mr. Mukesh Mukti, Production Associate Manager. This session gave students valuable insights into the company’s operations and culture. Following the discussion, students toured various manufacturing units within the facility, covering sectors such as Cosmetics, Ayurvedic products, home care, and Food production. This hands-on experience was designed to sensitize students to industry culture and prepare them for future job selection and career opportunities.

The visit was coordinated by Dr. Rajat Subhra Dutta, Coordinator of the Training and Career Guidance Cell, along with Assistant Professors Mr. Bedanta Bhattacharjee, Ms. Debika Sarmah, and Mr. Nabajyoti Kalita, all from GCU Tezpur campus.

This initiative underscores GCU Tezpur’s commitment to bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world industry experience, equipping students for successful careers in the pharmaceutical field.
