We are proud to announce that Ms. Debika Sarmah, Assistant Professor at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Girijananda Chowdhury University, Tezpur Campus, has been awarded the Fifth Best Poster Presentation Award at the 1st International Conference on Experimental and Molecular Pharmacology Interface in Drug Discovery and Development (EMPi-3D) 2024.
The conference, held on December 5–6, 2024, was organized by the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, NIPER Guwahati, and brought together leading researchers, pharmaceutical scientists, and healthcare professionals to exchange ideas, share insights, and explore cutting-edge advancements in drug development.
Ms. Sarmah’s poster presentation, titled “Assessing Chrysin’s Protective Effects on Hepatic and Renal Function Against Sodium Valproate Toxicity,” was based on her M.Pharm project work conducted at Girijananda Chowdhury University, Guwahati Campus, under the mentorship of Dr. Rupa Sengupta.
Her research demonstrated groundbreaking insights, meticulous analysis, and impactful applications, earning immense appreciation from the attendees and the judging panel alike. This achievement highlights the innovative research and academic excellence fostered at Girijananda Chowdhury University.
