As part of the 7-Day NSS Special Program, on March 25, 2025, the NSS Unit-3 of Girijananda Chowdhury University (GCU), Tezpur Campus organized a heartwarming visit to “Snehalaya”, an Old Age Home located at Dipoota, Tezpur.
The visit was marked by a beautifully curated event where student volunteers performed songs and dances, bringing smiles and joy to the elderly residents. The interaction was filled with warmth, laughter, and emotional bonding, making it a memorable experience for both the students and the residents of Snehalaya.
In addition to the performances, the NSS team also donated essential supplies to the old age home as a gesture of care and support. This initiative reflected the spirit of compassion, social responsibility, and community service that the NSS strives to instill in its volunteers.
