Girijananda Chowdhury University, Tezpur campus, successfully organized its Annual Sports Week, “Kreeda Sangam”, from 24th to 26th February 2025. The event aimed to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and a spirit of healthy competition among students.
The Kreeda Sangam kicked off with a dynamic March Past, reflecting discipline and unity among participants. The event was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Imtiaz Ansari, Advocate and Vice President of the Tezpur Cricket Association, alongside Prof. Abdul Baquee Ahmed, Principal of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, GCU Tezpur campus. The honour of Best House in March Past was awarded to Barak House (Red). Various sports events were held, including Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Athletics, and Indoor Games, engaging students across different disciplines. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, highlighting the athletic prowess and competitive spirit of the students.
