The Masters of Technology program at Girijananda Chowdhury University (GCU) is a postgraduate degree conferred after the completion of a rigorous course specially focussed on the practical applications of engineering skills and principles. The Department of Civil Engineering was established in August 2014 under Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology, with affiliation to Assam Science and Technology University.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was started in September 2006 with the programme Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) under the affiliation of Gauhati University.
Department initially started Bachelor of Engineering (E) Programme in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering affiliated to Gauhati University with initial intake of 60 students.
