The laboratory was modernized during 2008 – 2009 with a fund received under MODROB scheme. Now, the department has a big well equipped state of the art laboratory with working capacity of 32 students at a time. In the laboratory, there are digital uv – visible spectrophotometer, pH meter, hot air oven, digital balance, chemical balance, water distillation plant, digital conductivity meter, fume chamber, polymer chain reactor, instrument room, computers in addition to usual apparatus and chemicals. The students of B.Tech and M.Tech courses avail the facilities of the laboratory to carry out their project works under the guidance of the faculties of the department as and when necessary. The facilities are sufficient for running B.Sc. course.
