About the Event:
The programme was aimed to provide in-depth knowledge about complete PCB fabrication. PCB design software named EAGLE was used. The following content was covered in the programme:
- Simulation using Eagle Software
- Transferring the Design to Copper Clad (by heat transfer)
- Etching of PCB
- Drilling and Component Pasting
- Soldering of Components onto the PCB
- Testing and Verification
A total of 10 students participated in the programme. The students enjoyed the hands-on experience and the process of designing the electronic circuit layout, etching techniques, and soldering the components on their PCB. Feedback about the programme was collected. The students appreciated the initiative of the IDEA lab team in organizing the event. The programme came to an end with the valedictory session. Mr. Abhinandan Kalita (Tech Guru) has coordinated & executed the programme to make it successful in enhancing students’ skill levels.
