The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Girijananda Chowdhury University, Tezpur campus, marked Pharma Anveshan 2024 (National Pharmacy Education Day-2024) with the theme “Leveraging Synergism: Industry-Academia Partnership for Implementation of National Education Policy, 2020” on March 6, 2024. The event featured a productive discussion and interaction session, highlighted by Prof. Abdul Baquee Ahmed, Principal, SOPS, GCU Tezpur campus which was followed by a keynote address from Mr. Manoj Chetry, Quality Assurance Head at Dabur India Ltd., Tezpur Unit. Mr. Chetry shared valuable insights from his professional journey and shed light on the various opportunities available in the pharmaceutical industry.
In order to enrich the students’ understanding, a quiz competition focusing on pharmacy knowledge was organized for both B. Pharm and D. Pharm students. The competition, facilitated by Dr. Asish Bhaumik, Associate Professor at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, GCU Tezpur, served as an engaging platform for testing and enhancing their knowledge in the field.
