The B. Pharm 7th semester students from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SOPS) at Girijananda Chowdhury University (GCU)-Tezpur Campus recently completed a successful Student Exchange Program at the GCU-Guwahati Campus from November 11th to 15th, 2024. This program provided an enriching platform for knowledge exchange and collaborative learning between students and faculty from both campuses.
The 62 students, were divided into two groups, each accompanied by a faculty member, Dr. Rajat Subhra Dutta and Mr. Damanbhalang Rynjah, Assistant Professors of the GCU-Tezpur campus, had a structured itinerary filled with interactive sessions and facility tours.
The participants had the opportunity to visit several key facilities and institutions, including the visit to the university’s Sophisticated Analytical Instrument Facility (SAIF), Bina Chowdhury Central Library, and Animal House Facility. Furthermore, a visit to the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER)-Guwahati, IIT-Biotech Park, Dr. H. K. Baruah Regional Botanical Resource Centre at Gauhati University, and the Regional Science Centre at Khanapara.
