Under NEP 2020 GCU Assam is implementing Four Year Bachelor Programme from the current Academic Year 2023 – 24. The new credit framework has been designed in the light of Curriculum Framework proposed by UGC and National Credit Framework (NCrF).
The 4 year courses of bachelor degree are as follows:

There are two types of courses: Core Course and Common Courses. The Core Courses comprise of Major and Minor Courses and the Common Courses comprise of Ability Enhancement Courses (AEC), Multidisciplinary Courses (MDC), Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC) and Value Added Courses (VAC). Switching of Major within the broad discipline is possible for the students at the end of second semester of every programme.
