Tarik Isphak is currently serving as a Lecturer in Pharmaceutics at Girijananda Chowdhury University (GCU), Assam. Prior to the present appointment, he has accumulated academic and research experience during his postgraduate and undergraduate studies at Girijananda Chowdhury University and, Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. He has rendered academic and research services in the field of Pharmaceutics with specialization in drug formulation and pharmaceutical analysis. With regard to academic qualifications, he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from Girijananda Chowdhury University. He completed his Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) with a CGPA of 8.79 and Bachelor of Pharmacy with a CGPA of 8.1.
His primary research interests include nanoformulation, neuromedicine, antimicrobial activity, wound healing, and nanogel-based drug delivery systems, with a focus on improving drug efficacy and therapeutic performance through advanced formulation strategies. He has successfully completed industrial training at ERIS Lifesciences, Guwahati. He has published a review work titled “Plant-Based Therapies to Ameliorate Neuroinflammation in Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s Disease and Epilepsy: A Narrative Review” in Chemistry & Biodiversity (2025).
He has actively participated in international conferences, including a poster presentation at Dibrugarh University, as well as a national seminar conducted by the Government of India in association with the Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology (CSTT). He has also contributed as a volunteer in various academic and social service activities. Additionally, he served as a Student Executive at Euphuism 2025, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills..
