Team Astranova from Girijananda Chowdhury University has secured a prestigious Top 3 Position and recieved Seed Funding Investment at the Ideathon 2026: Innovate for Northeast India (GUenARK SIH 1.0) held at Gauhati University!
In a competitive field of innovators, this team stood out not just for their idea, but for their execution. They presented KhetFlow, a sustainable B2B marketplace designed to solve the critical issue of food waste in the Northeast and entire india.
🌱 About KhetFlow:
KhetFlow addresses a massive gap in the agri-supply chain by connecting farmers holding “imperfect” (Grade B and C ) produce directly with HORECA businesses. By creating a market for what is usually discarded, they are turning waste into wealth increasing farmer incomes while reducing environmental impact and mainly it creates impact by creating digital statements that helps them get micro loans from banks.
Securing seed funding at this stage is a huge validation of their vision and hard work.
