Dr. Mahbubur Rahman is a dedicated pharmaceutical professional with comprehensive training and experience in clinical pharmacy and industrial practice. He completed his pharmaceutical education at Mewar University, MMDU and pursuing Ph D from RIMT University.
He underwent 8 months of hospital training at Maharishi Markandeshwar Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (MMIMSR), Mullana, and 3 months of clinical pharmacologist training at Barpeta Civil Hospital, Assam, both as part of his Pharm D program. He also completed 1 month of industrial training at Oniosome Healthcare Limited, Mohali, during B.Pharm.
Also has 7 months teaching expreience from Mahatma Gandhi College of Pharmaceutical Science, Rajasthan and 19 months of teaching exprience from JBIP, Guwahati.
His responsibilities have included patient counseling on disease, medication, and lifestyle modifications; conducting health awareness camps in rural areas; active participation in ward rounds and auditing prescriptions for medical errors and antibiotic use; reporting Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR); and guiding nine B.Pharm 8th‑semester students on their project work.
He has published 10 research and review articales in national and international journal, one book chapter, and one patent which are related to antibiotic stewardship, antibiotic utilization, Tuberculosis, PCOS, Infertility, HIV/AIDS, Psoriasis, etc.
Dr. Mahbubur Rahman has showcased his research through various academic events: an e‑poster presentation at the “Vigilance Carnival‑IPA‑SF” Nasik Branch ; a poster in the 3rd North Zone conference on post‑COVID experimental and clinical pharmacology (AECP‑2023, MMIMSR, MMDU, Ambala); participation in a national seminar on “Chemistry as central science” at Mewar University, Chittorgarh ; attendance at the 70th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress; and a seminar on medicinal & aromatic plants with focus on the Indian scene.
