Mr. Prasanjit Das is an emerging academic figure at Girijananda Chowdhury University (GCU), where he serves as an Assistant Professor specializing in Pharmaceutics. He brings a contemporary perspective to pharmaceutical education and research within the region.
Mr. Das is currently pursuing his Ph.D. from Assam down town University. He built his academic foundation by completing his Bachelor of Pharmacy from Punjab Technical University, followed by a Master’s in Pharmacy from Kakatiya University. His commitment to innovation in his field is evidenced by his research portfolio; he has co-authored several design patents at both the Indian and international levels.
His expertise spans a broad spectrum of pharmaceutical sciences, with a specific focus on: Pharmaceutical Drug Design, Industrial Pharmacy, and Equipment Handling. He specializes in Dosage Forms and Novel Drug Delivery Systems (NDDS), including advanced research into Drug Release and Dissolution profiles, Liposomes, Nanoparticles, Implants, and Transdermal Patches.
He joined GCU in 2026 and is actively contributing to the university’s academic environment through his focus on modern pharmaceutical technologies and drug delivery innovations.
