The Department of English and Foreign Languages at GCU, in collaboration with the Japan Foundation, New Delhi, is organising Japan Carnival: A festival of Japanese Language and Culture on 8 and 9 November at the university premise. This two day extravaganza will include:
- A quiz competition for he students of class XI and XII (on Japanese history, geography, culture and anime etc.)
- Yukata (traditional Japanese dress)
- Traditional Japanese games
- Movie screening
The partakers of the Carnival will be able to experience glimpses of Japan’s rich customs, traditions and food. The Director of the Japan Foundation, New Delhi and other distinguished guests from the Japan Foundation will grace the event with their presence.
