Rupam Sarmah joined Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT), Guwahati (now Girijananda Chowdhury University (GCU)) on 15th September 2010 as a Laboratory Instructor at Department of Electrical Engineering. From the joining onwards, he teaches and assisted the various laboratory subjects of Electrical Engineering Department.
He has done Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Nowgong Polytechnic , Nagaon (Assam). He has 12 years working experience in Academic field and 2 years working experience in Industry/Construction field.
He has assists the assistant of system administration. He also visited to different industries as Industrial trip along with students. He is the member of “Movie making and Movie club” and “Electrical Hub Club”. He also do the mentoring of the students.
