Ms. Punamjyoti Das joined the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Girijananda Chowdhury University, Tezpur Campusas an Assistant Professor in August 2023. At present, she is teaching (and learning) the curriculum courses in Pharmaceutics. Prior to this, she was a Research fellow at Dibrugarh University, Assam, India. Her work was mostly in the development of Nanomedicines for the management of cancer.
Punamjyoti has done her(Post-graduation) M. Pharm in Pharmaceutics (with a major project in Development of Nano formulations) from Dibrugarh University. Her undergraduate (B. Pharm) was in Pharmaceutical Sciences (with a major project in the Management of Cardiovascular Disease)from Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh. She has done her industrial training in Quality Pharma Product Pvt. Ltd., Dibrugarh, Assam.
Apart from academics, she enjoys writing poetry and dancing. She has published many Review and Research articles in various Indian and International Journals and also she has attended and presented in a number of National and International Seminars. She attended Hands-on training and workshops on instruments used in the Pharmaceutical field.
Punamjyoti believes herself as an enthusiastic, reliable, responsible, and hardworking teacher. She is a mature team worker and adaptable to all challenging situations.
