Prastuti Pegu joined the Civil Engineering Department as a Lab Instructor in August 2026. She completed her B.Tech in Civil Engineering from Jorhat Engineering College in 2022.Following her graduation, she worked for two years as an Estimation Engineer at a private consultancy firm, gaining practical experience in estimation, costing and other aspects of civil engineering practice.
At present, she is actively involved in teaching Engineering Graphics & Drawing, AutoCAD and Engineering Survey Laboratory to students of GCU. Alongside her academic responsibilities, she also takes an active part in various co-curricular and departmental activities.
She has had a keen interest in dance since her student days and has been an active member of the Dance Club, continuing her involvement in extracurricular activities alongside her professional career. Her M.Tech at (Assam Engineering College) is presently on hold. She aspires to resume and complete her postgraduate studies at the earliest, with the aim of further strengthening her academic and professional expertise and taking the next step in her career. With a combination of academic knowledge, industry experience, teaching involvement and extracurricular interests, she looks forward to contributing meaningfully to the academic environment.
