Nitisha Mazumdar has carved her path with a blend of academic prowess and determination. Born and raised in Guwahati in 1990 to Prof. Amulya Chandra Mazumdar and Mrs Jaya Mazumdar, Nitisha began her first educational journey at GU English Model School, where she absorbs knowledge like a sponge, displaying a keen intellect and a hunger for learning. Transitioning to her higher secondary education at SSA Pan bazar, Nitisha continues to shine brightly, balancing her academic pursuits with an active involvement in extracurricular activities.
Driven by her passion for engineering, Nitisha pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree at Royal Group of Institutions under the prestigious Gauhati University in the year 2009 and stated Master of Technology in Design of Civil Engineering at Jorhat Engineering College, affiliated under Dibrugarh University in the year 2013. Her keen interest towards the subject allowed her to pursue her Ph.D. under GCU after a hiatus of seven years.
Nitisha Mazumdar joined as Assistant Professor in the department of Civil Engineering at Royal Global University from 18th Feb 2016 to 1 st April 2021. She was blessed with a baby and took gap from her professional life and rejoin as Assistant Professor in the department of Civil Engineering at Girijananda Choudhury University from 1 st August 2023. Outside of her academic pursuits, Nitisha actively participated in research projects, seminars, and workshops, showcasing her dedication to continuous learning and academic exploration.
